"Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" (Prov 3:5)

Perfectionists are said to be people who often are obsessed with getting things right and in the right order. Their goal is to be perfect in all that they do. It is important to be a person of order who functions in a set order so long as the set order does not take you over. When the 'set order' becomes the chief driving force of your life, the risk of running into dead end situations will be a reality. Man's perfection lies only in God (Jam 1:17). In our busy 21st Century societies are people who are obsessed with having perfect figures, perfect hairdos, perfect homes, and perfect cars. There are now perfect diets that keep people in perfect weight and shape. The quest to gain and attain the status of 'perfect' is now an obsession for many 21st century dwellers. Child of God, perfection only comes through the blood of Jesus. You were once marred clay before the blood of Jesus Christ bought you back from sin and remoulded your past experiences into perfect shape. Do not allow afflictions, words of men, trials, tribulations remould your life from the perfect shape you became by virtue of the blood of Jesus (Roms 8:1-2). Trouble ought not to be given room to remould your destiny. Moses could have allowed the identity of a murderer to destroy his future, but that trouble was to lead him to the school of learning for his future assignment. When the Lord appeared to Moses in the burning bush it was to change his experience and to remould his mind for his future as a "deliverer". The trouble he went through in the past qualified him for the glory to come. His past occupation as an exile became a stepping stone for his future preoccupation as the chosen one to bring Israel out of exile. Your past experiences are now your qualifications or certificates for your new experiences. Not all trouble comes from the devil. Some trouble I refer to as, "appointed trouble" or "preordained trouble", and in the end they usually solidify as "steps", "stairs" or "rungs of ladders." Such experiences are to be used to get to the next level. Often they are experiences that seem painful when you are going through them because usually you can't see the end of it. Beloved, fear not! Step on that trouble today and get to your next level.
