"The earth is the Lord's and all its fullness." (Ps 24:1)

With Christmas wrappings in the refuse bins, and gifts from loved ones displayed all around, you must feel a sense of satisfaction. With family gatherings and seasonal celebrations over you must be thinking what next. The sound of a new year brings renewed hope and expectations. If earthly relationships can display such love and acts of giving, how much more you Father in heaven? The Lord, your God desires to give you good gifts that are not limited to seasons but relevant to your every day need. Often times we make room for season's celebrations such as Christmas and gifts, but hardly do believers create room for God's blessings. The Bible teaches that you have been, "blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ." (Eph 1:3). Can you believe that every thing you could possible want or desire today has been provided for by your Father in heaven? Best of all is that you haven't even got to pay a penny, dime, naira, rupee or in any other currency for them. God is able to give such good and perfect gifts because every thing on the earth and the best of it belongs to him. God's gifts to you are perfect and free (Jam 2:17). How much room have you then made today to receive spiritual blessings that are rightly yours by divine inheritance? God gives good gifts to his children, far beyond our expectations. The early church prayed earnestly for Peter's release from prison and when God granted their heart's desire it turned out that they had not made room for the blessing they were in prayer for...Peter's release from prison. Peter stood knocking at the door to the house where they all met to pray, no one amongst the believers expected Peter to be released it would appear. They were astonished when the door was finally opened (Acts 12:16). Your breakthrough is standing at the entrance to your destiny today, waiting for you to open the door. Making room in your heart for your breakthrough is a sure way to know you are ready to receive whatever you have believed God for. No matter the circumstances or situations you are faced with, today is a day you are to remember that you are now in a whole new season. You are to make room for the diverse gifts God desires for you; they are good and they are perfect, and best of all they are for you.

Prayer: Thank you Lord for your blessings today and forever. May my spirit I pray seek after your kingdom and your righteousness. Help me Lord to make room in my heart and in my life for your blessings, Amen.
