Gimme a break!! Bach's Toccata and fuge in D minor occurs no less than four times on the two Word classical collections. It wouldn't be so annoying if they were all different versions, but two are by Brunelle and two by Foss, at least you get one of each if you buy the 'Masters Of The Baroque' as well as this one. Word resisted the temptation to bung "Jesu Joy Of Man's Desiring" onto this disc as well, for which we should be grateful. After the annoyance had subsided, I had to admit to myself that Brunelle is a pretty cool player and grooves along to the score with incredible clarity and some very nice voicing and with that in mind I decided to rate this disc accordingly.
