This is, stunningly, the 100th release in the Hosanna! Music series albums and the fact that the worship should sound as fresh and vital as on this release brings credit to Christendom's most successful praise corporation. Mobile, Alabama's Integrity Music, and California worship leader Tommy Walker. Where once Hosanna! albums rested in the languid hinterland of easy listening, this is explosive, funky, jazz, pop, R&B praise absolutely overflowing with energy and instrumental virtuosity. Check out that stunning sax solo (Justo Almario) on "Give Us The Sounds" for instance. Beautifully arranged and produced by Tommy and another session seasoned veteran, drummer Bob Wilson, and with exemplary R&B gospel voices like Linda McCrary and Kristle Murden occasionally cropping up to add their praise to the heady, live worship, this definitely warrants investigation.
